Reloading software for people who load their own

The reloading notebook that keeps the books for you.

Recipes, batches, FIFO inventory, real cost per round, range day groups for your handloads and factory ammo, and price alerts on the components you actually use.

Coming soon. The demo runs in your browser and keeps what you enter on your device.

What it does

Everything from the first purchase to the last shot.

One notebook for the bench and the range, so the numbers you care about add themselves up.

Recipes

Every load in one place: components, charge weight in grains, COAL and CBTO, and the load data source.

Batches that count for you

Record a batch and the powder, bullets and primers come out of inventory automatically, oldest purchase first.

True cost per round

Pounds, kilos, boxes and bricks normalized to cost per grain and per piece, including shipping and hazmat.

Best prices for your recipes

We watch the major retailers and tell you who has the best price on each component you load.

Range day

Photograph your target, line up an on-screen target over it, mark the shots and get group size, spread and the sight change in clicks.

Compare loads in each rifle

See which load groups tightest in each firearm, with the place, temperature, wind and density altitude it was shot in.

Factory ammo as the yardstick

Shoot a box of factory ammunition on range day and see whether your recipes beat it, rifle by rifle. For rimfire, find the brand and lot your rifle likes.

Weather from your meter

Read conditions from your weather meter, a nearby station or a forecast for the spot, adjusted to your elevation.

Works offline

On your phone at the range, your tablet at the bench and your desktop at home. Syncs when you're back online.

How it works

Three steps, and the books keep themselves.

  1. Stock the shelf

Log each purchase of powder, bullets, primers and brass with what you paid, shipping and hazmat included.

  2. Load a batch

Pick a recipe and a count. The components come out of inventory, oldest first, and the batch knows its cost per round.

  3. Shoot and compare

Mark your target at the range and see which load groups tightest in each rifle, and in what conditions.

Questions

Common questions

Does AmmoLoader give me load data?

No. AmmoLoader records the loads you build from published load data and keeps track of how they shoot. Always follow the powder and bullet makers' published data.

Does it work without a signal at the range?

Yes. Everything you enter is kept on your device and syncs to your other devices when you are back online.

Which devices does it run on?

Any phone, tablet or computer with a current web browser. Add it to your home screen and it opens like an app.

How does it work out cost per round?

Each purchase keeps its own price, shipping and hazmat fees. When you record a batch, the oldest components are used first, so every round carries what you actually paid.

Is it free?

You can start free on one device. Paid plans add sync across devices, price alerts and range day analytics.
